How make the most from your IndisposablesTM Cotton Baby Wipes!
Teething: Do’s and Don’ts
Make up some of your favorite wipe solution. Every few days, pour some over fresh and clean cloth wipes in either an empty disposable wipe container or a plastic container with a tight-fitting lid. Tip upside down to be sure and saturate all the wipes. Keep a container of your pre-moistened Indisposables Cloth Baby Wipes handy at all of the most commonly used diaper changing points in the house and you’re set!
Baby Wipes 1-1/2 - 2 cups water 8 drops of lavender oil 5 drops of tea tree oil (optional) 1/8 - 1/4 c baby shampoo Add the baby shampoo last, mix the solution gently.
Basic Baby Wipe Recipe 2-1/4 cups water 2 tbsp baby shampoo
Anti-fungal Baby Wipes 1/2 c. distilled water 1/4 c. vinegar 1/4 c. aloe vera gel 1 TBS. calendula oil 1 drop lavender essential oil 1 drop tea tree essential oil Note: If baby has a really red, raw diaper rash omit the vinegar.
You can also pre-moisten your baby wipes with clear water and store them in a re-sealable plastic bag – great for the diaper bag.
Cloth wipes work great on older children, on dirty hands and faces and even to wipe down high chairs!
Use the white and unbleached baby wipes for diaper changes and use the printed baby wipes for dirty hands and faces.

Teething is a normal and natural component of growth and development. Teething is the exposure or breaking of a baby tooth through the gums. Infants encounter teething anywhere from 4 months onwards, until all teeth have erupted. Generally, females begin teeth slightly earlier than males. Teething may extend up to 2 years of age. Although the infant may show signs of discomfort, there are definite do’s and don’ts.
During the exposure of a tooth, infant gums may be uncomfortable and tender. Teething rings are recommended. A teething ring is a flexible gel like plastic ring that infants can chew on. The ring can be refrigerated, which would offer a cooling effect to the gums. Be sure to keep the ring clean. At this stage the infant may want to put anything in their mouths. Be sure to monitor the infant and allow only clean fingers or a clean teething ring. Avoid anything that could cause choking.
Teething is a natural component of growth and development, limited to the mouth. If your infant develops any flu or cold like symptoms (fever, cough) seek medical attention immediately to rule out any infections.
Teething requires TLC, and nothing else. Try to avoid ambesol or any numbing agents, as studies have shown that their use could lead to more serious health problems.
Parents can find simple solutions to combat the drama of teething; a cool teething ring, lotsa TLC and a small dose of empathy is all your child needs.
