Thank you for your purchase! We are pleased that you have chosen to use our award winning products and encourage you to read and follow these caring guidelines. We recommend that all our products be pre-washed prior to use. Soak printed products in a salt-water solution - 15ml (1 tbsp) salt in a basin of cold water prior to washing in order to set dyes.

INDISPOSABLES™ COTTON DIAPERS: ADJUSTING THE DIAPER TO FIT YOUR BABY
• If the diaper is too long for your baby, or the umbilicus has not fallen off, fasten the diaper snugly in the front and then fold the top waist section down.
• To adjust the leg openings, fasten the Velcro™ strip upward to tighten the leg opening.

WASHING YOUR DIAPERS, DIAPER LINERS, INSERTS AND BABY WIPES
•  Pre-wash diapers at least twice before using. This will soften the diapers and wash away any possible manufacturing residues. It will take four to six washings for the diaper to reach maximum absorbency. Please make sure that the Velcro™ tab is tucked inside the triangle “cover” to prevent lint from collecting on the Velcro™ and from snagging on your diapers.
•  After changing your baby's diaper, flush stool down toilet and place the diaper into a diaper pail.
Pail Option 1: Wet Diaper Pail – soak the diapers in a pail ½ filled with cold water, add 15ml (1 tbsp.) of Indisposables™ Laundry Brightener (activated by mixing in hot water), or use ¼ cup vinegar or washing soda instead of Indisposables™ Brightener. Launder within 72 hours.
Pail Option 2: Dry Diaper Pail - do not use any solution. Launder within 48 hours.
•  Pour the contents of the pail into the washing machine and turn on the rinse cycle. This will rinse and spin the solution out of the diapers. (This step is optional). Wash diapers in hot water with a cold rinse. Do not use fabric softeners as they coat the fibers and reduce the absorbency of the diapers.
•  DO NOT USE BLEACH. 
•  We have found that detergents with bleach, pure soap products, or strong detergent products - liquid or powder (e.g. Tide, Sunlight, Ivory Snow, or Cheer) may reduce the life expectancy of cloth diapers. 
•  In order for the “ECOLOGO” warrantee to be valid you must use the Indisposables™ Laundry Concentrate and Indisposables™ Laundry Brightener. They are biodegradable, phosphate free and have no chlorine. The Laundry Concentrate is fragrance free and pH balanced. Its soil suspension action and non ionic surfactants remove the toughest stains. The Brightener uses special oxygen bleach with a unique wetting agent to whiten and brighten. Both are highly concentrated and extremely economical. Contact your Consultant or visit our website to order. Trial sizes are available.
•  Care in drying your diapers will add to their life. Dry diapers using a medium setting in the dryer. Set the timer for 15 minutes if line drying or for 30 minutes if rack drying. Diapers can be dried completely in the dryer; however, this may shorten the life of the product.
•  Should staining occur, soak diapers in a solution of 15 – 30 ml (1 – 2 tbsp.) of Indisposables™ Laundry Brightener in a small pail filled with extremely hot water. Soak till the solution cools or until the next load of diapers is washed. You can also try hanging diapers in the sun after laundering to naturally bleach stains away. For extra tough stains mix 30 ml (2 tbsp.) Indisposables™ Laundry Concentrate with 30 ml (2 tbsp.) Indisposables™ Laundry Brightener and apply paste to the stain. Then launder as usual. Please note that orange colored "first foods" and medication will affect the staining on diapers. As natural and artificial coloring causes these stains, the stains will lessen in intensity with washing. Using Indisposables™ Brightener during these times will decrease the possibility of staining.

DIAPER CHANGES WITH CLOTH VS. DISPOSABLE DIAPERS
Please remember that there are differences between cloth diapers and disposable diapers. While we are confident that our diaper is the most absorbent and best fitting cloth diaper available, the cloth diaper won’t feel like a disposable diaper. When a baby wets, you will feel the wetness through the cloth and know this is the right time to change the diaper. Cloth diapering remains the most comfortable, economical and environmentally responsible diapering choice.

CHANGE PADS, MULTI PURPOSE PADS and QUILTED BIBS
•  Wash in warm water and dry on a low setting.

NURSING T-SHIRT and NURSING PADS
•  Wash in cold water and dry on a medium setting.

FLUSHABYE™ DIAPER LINERS / BIO LINERS
•  The Liner's material makes it safe to flush down toilets. It should be noted however, that plumbing systems and their effectiveness vary. Too many Liners flushed down a toilet at one time or during one day in a less than adequate plumbing system may cause problems. To avoid difficulty, we recommend that only one soiled Liner be flushed at a time. Wet liners can be disposed of in the garbage. It is helpful to let the Liner sit a few moments in the toilet before flushing. Homes with septic tanks can use the Liners if they follow the above tips.

NURSING BRAS
•  Hand wash in cold water and hang to dry.

NYLON PANTS (Breathable or Waterproof)
•  Breathable Nylon fabrics should always be hand washed and hung to dry. Waterproof Nylon fabrics can be machine washed, however, hand washing is recommended. Never place pants in the dryer. Caring for your pants properly will add to their life. For premature babies or those with very tiny legs, handstitch the Lycra/Spandex™ on the legs to make the leg openings smaller. Undo the stitching as the baby grows.
